A couple of days ago, I had my husband pull out my sourdough starter from the fridge so I could give her a feeding and hopefully make some yummy goodness this week. I realized today as I was searching recipes that I never gave her a name.

Now I’m torn. There are so many good names for sourdough starter and I can’t choose. So I need your help! Use the following poll to pick your favorite name from the ones I’ve narrowed it down to, and continue reading for what I plan to make with her.

I have big big plans for this ol’ gal. In June, I plan on selling my finished makes and some of my starter at the Groveport First Thursday event (read more about it here).

Here are some of the things I’m looking into selling:

• Sourdough sandwich bread (flavored and plain)
• Crackers
• Chocolate chip cookies
• Bagels

I don’t know if I want to do more than a few things, mostly because the majority of my shop is selling my finished crochet/knit/yarny makes. Plus, with selling prepared food, there are a whole lot of laws and regulations that come with it, and I’m not sure if I really want to get involved with all of that.
